Tell us about your Business

We are a global distributor of electronic components.  TTI Europeis headquartered in Maisach-Gernlinden near Munich, German.  The European side of our business was founded in 1992 and we have over 8,800 employees across 160 locations.

Our Manchester Office in Exchange Quay is one of the newest teams to the business as historically we only had a UK office in High Wycombe.

How many staff work at Exchange Quay and what do they enjoy about being based at the campus?

12 people work in the Exchange Quay office which is made up of sales support, sales and product marketing.  We enjoy the facilities on the campus with most of us going to the gym or joining the fitness classes.

The whole team are based all over the North West so the location is a great central location for all of us to meet.

Why does the location work for you?

What do you attribute your company success to?

Our company’s success is due to our strategy which is holding a large volume of inventory for long term growth and working in partnership with our customers to establish a secure supply chain.  There are also great opportunities to travel and learn new skills in other parts of the business.  It is a fast-paced business but with people at its core.

What are your plans for the year ahead?

Grow the Manchester site!

What are you most proud of with the business?

As a business we have a great ability to hit big numbers in a challenging global down turning market.  We always keep people at the core of what we do, we are seen as industry leaders!

What is your favourite thing about working in Manchester?

The diversity!  Manchester is an amazing city and there is always something happening.
